A Pain in the Arch
As a lifelong athlete, I have firsthand experience in sports related injuries. I began playing football in the fourth grade and continued through high school while being involved in several other organized sports including track, basketball, wrestling, softball and baseball. Also, I had the pleasure of playing rugby on both the collegiate and post collegiate levels. Now I enjoy playing basketball on a regular basis and snowboarding whenever the opportunity arises. It is a pleasure to be able to use my personal experiences and medical education to assist athletes in the healing process.
In the following article I will address plantar fasciitis, one of the most common conditions that I see in private practice.
